Kevin Dixson, principal, has over 20 years of experience in the wood flooring business.

In 1985, with a degree in Arts, Kevin started working with a partner, who already had several years of experience in wood flooring.

In the next few years, Kevin mastered the intricacies of the profession and later created his own company as a sole proprietor. Mainly working on small jobs, with the occasional help of a few workers, he started building floors of wider and larger proportions, mastering the art of flooring, with elaborate inlays interweaving with sophisticated types of woods.

Over the years, Kevin has proven his mastery in the profession, and his business has increased exponentially. The quality of his work, his professionalism, and an excellent satisfaction rate from his customers are the foundation of his success. Over ninety percent of his business comes from referrals and previous client contacts.

In 1998 Kevin founded Designer Floors, and later added a showroom displaying a gamut of prefinished and unfinished floor samples. Kevin is managing the entire company with the help of 16 employees. He remains very involved in the work and will personally insure that every floor reflects his high standards of craftsmanship and professionalism.
